Packages can be purchased separately at different times for a payment arrangement with the same services as the "Combo package"  

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to start of classroom instruction and/BTW lesson.

You must call/text the office to request a cancellation at 612-212-5566 with any communication on your driver education the above number is a good resource.

• It is your responsibility to set up the schedule with the driving school. Once the schedule is set it is your responsibility to contact Hot Seat Driving School regarding the need to cancel or change the appointment for the lesson. 

• Instructors have the right to charge a $75 fee if a student fails to cancel the behind-the-wheel appointment without 24-hour notice. This fee must be paid before the student can continue the instruction.

• No other persons may be in the vehicle when behind-the-wheel lessons are taking place other than the student, and the instructor unless an interpreter is needed, prior approval needed.

• In the event the student does not complete the program, no refunds will be issued after the student has completed the first day of classroom instruction/BTW lessons.

• You must complete 30 hours of classroom driver education and 6-hours of behind-the-wheel instruction if you are under the age of 18 to obtain your learner’s permit.

• All absences must be made up within 60 days! Students missing more than 6 hours of classroom, or who fail to complete within 60 days, will need to re-register and pay for another class.

• To make up your missed class time, you must attend the same session as the day you missed. (For example, if you were absent on the third day of your class, come to the third day of another class.) • For behind-the-wheel lessons, the instructor can pick the student up from home or school, and bring student back after the two hour lesson is done. Make sure to specify where the student will need to be picked up from and dropped off at when the lesson is done at the time of scheduling the lesson.

• The student will have 90 days to complete the online course once they begin. Students whose course expire prior to completing, will need to pay a $30 extension fee for 30 additional days of course access.

• The term of the contract is good until the student turns 18-years-old or one-year for adult BTW lessons.

Troubleshootng Video Problems

1. Exit the course and log out of the website.

2. Switch internet browsers (like Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari)

3. Switch devices (like a mobile phone, laptop, iPad)

5. Visit youtube.com and vimeo.com. If you cannot access the site(s), your device or network may be blocking it.  Adjust your settings to allow the site(s).

6. Refresh the course website, log back in and try the video again.

7. Log out of any Google account by going to google.com directly and explicitly log out of it. (It's possible that you might not even have a tab open to show you are logged in to Google, but you still may be due to how browser cookies work.)

8. Restart the device (computer, phone)

9. If you're using Chrome internet browser, sign out.
